Well, it's either adding http auth to what we got (which is fine) or  
use something else, it's no biggie and fairly simple stuff.

I agree on the other stuff though, maybe not 100% about allowing  
anonymous posting. I'd rather have users who could post be real  
users, easier to manage and simpler code.

I hope to be (at least getting started on) rewriting it over my  
christmas break. The current codebase really annoys me at times (I  
mean geez, overriding AR::Base#save and have it accept params, eww,  
what was I thinking ;)).
