Perhaps the notification stuff can be used to tie in DamangeControle?
(nb. I've no idea how DamangeControle works, so no idea if its possible)
This would allow the link between the two to be 'loose'.

I'm happy to input my thoughts on the continued development of  
Collaboa, even if some of them are absolutely ridiculous :-)
I'd also be happy to contribute some time to helping with tickets,  
patching and development.
